This Privacy Policy explains what information VTUMax collects when you purchase, install, or use the Software, and how we use, store, and protect it.

2. Information we collect

Account information: name, email, business name, and billing details when you purchase a license.

Usage data: aggregated, non-identifying data about plugin activation and feature usage, used to improve the product.

Support data: anything you share with us via email, WhatsApp, or a support ticket, including screenshots or logs you send us.

3. What we don't collect

VTUMax does not process or store your end customers' card numbers, bank credentials, or wallet PINs. That data is handled directly by your chosen payment gateway (Paystack, Monnify, VPay, Payvessel) under their own security standards.

4. How we use your information

To deliver and support the Software, including license verification and updates.

To send important account and security notices, and — only if you opt in — product updates.

To improve VTUMax based on aggregated usage patterns.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers necessary to run VTUMax — such as payment processors for your own license purchase, and infrastructure providers who host our systems — under confidentiality obligations.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure, and we encourage you to also follow good security practices for your own admin accounts and API keys.

7. Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request deletion of your account data, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements. Contact hello@vtumax.com to make a request.

8. Data retention

We retain account and billing data for as long as your license is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and support obligations.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
